Chris was one of the original co-founders of Bayram Timber Ltd, established in July 2000. Over two decades, he played a key role in developing the company into a leading supplier of engineered and machined timber products within the UK market. In May 2021, Bayram Timber was acquired by BSW Timber Ltd, now part of the Binderholz Group, marking an important milestone in the company’s growth and integration into one of Europe’s largest timber businesses.

Chris now serves on the Summit Timber Group Board as a Non-Executive Director, bringing with him extensive commercial experience and a deep understanding of the timber industry. He has been instrumental in the Group’s recent acquisition of Swantech Timber, a strategic move designed to support Hawthorn Timber’s continued expansion and strengthen the Group’s overall market position.

With a wealth of experience and a strong network of industry relationships, Chris is particularly well known for his expertise in timber supply to the Leisure, Garden, and Landscaping sectors. His insight and proven track record in developing customer-focused, sustainable growth strategies make him a valuable contributor to Summit Timber Group’s future ambitions.
