Andy McCain joined Summit Timber in April 2025, as Group Finance Director. A commercially astute, driven, ACA-qualified Finance Director, Andy has extensive experience across a broad variety of sectors, with his last role being as Finance Director at CID Group – a major consumables products wholesaler supplying into the construction and civils sectors.
Recent experience focused on building solid financial systems and processes, driving Finance and Technology strategy, and implementing new platforms to support rapid business growth.
Andy has a track record in reducing cost base and increasing margins, and providing the financial backbone to support fast growth, both organic and inorganic, delivering maximum value to shareholders in PE-owned and other dynamic businesses.
