Tony Hackney
Chairman, Summit Timber Group
Tony is an accomplished timber industry leader with more than 15 years at the helm of BSW Group, where he served as CEO from 2008 and later UK Chairman. He oversaw the company’s transformation into a £900m integrated timber group through major organic growth, strategic acquisitions, and partnerships. He led the management buyout of BSW supported by Endless LLP, culminating in BSW’s sale to Binderholz in 2021. In 2024, Tony became Chairman of Summit Timber Group, guiding its growth strategy and championing customer service, operational excellence, and sustainable expansion.
